Composition: Lisinopril 10 mg Properties: Lisinopril is an ACEI(Angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor) which inhibits the conversion of Angiotensin I to Angiotensin II in RAS system By the suppression of ACE. AII causes pathological effects e.g:vasoconstriction,renal fluid and sodium retention,cardiac and vascular hypertrophy Indications: Lisinopril 10mg is indicated in mild to moderate degree of hypertension , cardio and renoprotective. Lisinopril 10mg is indicated in heart failure and acute myocardial infarction. Renoprotection in diabetic patients even if he is normotensive. Dosages and administration: 10mg mg once daily Contraindications: Pregnancy and Lactation Patients with hyperkalemia(Patients using K.sparing diuretics) Patients with a history of angioedema and chronic dry cough(Asthmatic patients) Patients with renal artery stenosis Presentation: Package of 3 strips(each has 10 tablets). |
