Composition:

Brimonocond ®:Brimonidine tartrate 0.2%
Brimonocond Plus ® :Brimonidine tartrate 0.2% , Timolol Maleate 0.5%

Preservative: Benzalkonium Chloride

Properties:

Brimonocond is an alpha adrenergic receptor agonist. It has a peak ocular hypotensive effect occurring at two hours post-dosing.

Brimonidine tartrate has a dual mechanism of action by

1- reducing aqueous humor production and

2- increasing uveoscleral outflow.

  • Timolol decreases aqueous production

Indications:

Brimonocondis indicated in open angel glaucoma

Dosages and administration:

One drop of  Brimonocond (brimonidine tartrate) in the affected eye(s) three times daily, approximately 8 hours apart

Presentation:

Bottle of 5 ml ophthalmic solution.
